What is the lead-time for the services offered?
A market scan normally takes 2-4 weeks. The distributor screening and qualification normally takes 4-6 weeks which is of course depending on the reaction time from the potential partners. The regulatory process is depending on the product and classification.
How does Gateway MedTech charge for their services?
Our services are quoted either as a flat fee or based on an hourly fee and the number of hours we expect are needed. The number of hours depends on the scope of the search in a specific market and is the maximum number of hours required. We are always fully transparent on the amounts we charge.
Does Gateway MedTech also assist with questions on e.g. product reimbursement and clinical trials?
Through our extensive local network, we can direct you to the right partners to assist you in answering any specific questions you might have regarding the Indian or Middle East markets.
Can you assist us in reviewing distributor contracts?
We have in our network the right legal partners that can review and advise on distributor contracts.
We have an in-house sales team that has identified X potential distributors. Can you qualify them for us?
Besides doing the listing and qualification in combination, we can also do the listing or qualification as a separate activity. In general we advise to let us do both the listing and qualification to make optimal use of the knowledge and expertise of the local consultant.
Does Gateway MedTech also work on a commission basis?
In principle we do work on a fixed fee or per hour basis but we are open to discuss commission basis for specific cases.
How do you secure that information is treated confidentially if needed?
If there is a requirement from your side to do so, we are used to have an NDA in place before we start the project.
